Diving in the Aegean, done that, diving in the Caribbean, done that (Caribbean is rubbish wouldn't bother going if I were you...); para-gliding, oh yes done that many times, it is easy and so on and so on. One night I engaged in one up manship with her just for a laugh and managed to trounce her in the end with 'well, when I went on the Transaustralia across the Nularbor plain for three days' and that was that! I do find this sort of thing seriously sad. Any might I say if I had that porch to sit on I would not move anywhere eitherAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2716833846895246215.post-40273906432971044292008-06-30T01:43:00.000-07:002008-06-30T01:43:00.000-07:00Diana, I have been through the High Sierras (inclu...Diana, I have been through the High Sierras (including King's Canyon) but have still not done any real hiking there. So you nee to stay in good hiking shape and not hang up your boots for a few more years yet, til we get back to the US! I'm afraid I do tend to ramble on about penguins in Antarctica, though :-) Mostly because they're so endearing; I had two girls, 8 and 9 years old, entertained just yesterday with a demonstration of how penguins waddle, hop, glide, and then flap and warble. (I think maybe they're not used to adults doing penguin imitations, and I'm sure I look very silly doing it.)

PaulaPaula Bermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03750476189375845824noreply@blogger.com
